This man makes people care about what is happening in this election and in this country. It's statements and speeches like this that have made over 1 million people donate money to Barack Obama:
Frankly, I'm a big fan of Ron Paul, I'm not sure if I'd even vote for Obama in the general election (assuming he wins primaries over Clinton) over McCain. However, I'm fascinated with the throngs that surround Obama and trumpet his name. When Obama comes to town, people show up... a lot of people. His gatherings are huge! People argue that a president is not the one who brings about change, Congress and other committees do. While that is partially true, I think that with this many people actually listening and passionately caring about Obama as a candidate and his message (change or hope or whatever), the people of this country united can bring about that change as well, by pushing Congress and other officials. When many people really actually care about the state of something and want change, that change will more than likely happen (Otherwise we'd still be reporting to the Queen of Britain). So, is this "change" that Obama talks about good, or bad? I mean, really, what is the "change" that he wants to happen? Does he know, do you know? Anyone?

Ask Travis, he's been really following Obama. I think unfortunately that too much time has been spent responding to the critics. but if you do want to see his stand on some issues, check out http://www.barackobama.com/issues/
Not sure who our next president will be, or even who it should be. It is sort of sad that 12-15 months from now, no one will care as much as they seem to now. I just hope whoever the next president will be will be able to weigh the best fdecisions for the most people and stand on principles.
